The WCCS targets Women and children as the main beneficiaries because, until today, let alone 80 years ago, the average woman with minimal education has limited options for work, and even life. On the other hand, single, divorced, and widowed women face additional restrictions and almost no support from society when it comes to finding work, even though they need to care for their families. Women in general and marginalized women in specific (uneducated, widowed, and divorced women) are the main concern of WCCS, which believes that women are the backbone of every healthy family and a strong society. Moreover, the WCCS believes that a healthy childhood will positively influence the lives of our future generations, which will automatically reflect on the society as a whole. Therefore, the WCCS directly targets children with specialized nursery care and developmental programs to contribute towards a well-developed society capable of flourishing in the future.

Although the WCCS focuses on Beit Jala and the Bethlehem District as a whole in its activities, we remain faithful to our mission to serve all Palestinian Women as much as we can, which is why we always target women and children from other districts, especially the Hebron (southern) area. Unfortunately, we face difficulties in attracting more beneficiaries from nearby areas in the middle and north of Palestine due to access restrictions, which is why we are always keen to work with sister organizations that share our vision for programs that can benefit more women and children across Palestine.
