Women Child Care Society (WCCS)
The Women Child Care Society (WCCS) is a charitable non-governmental women’s organization established in 1944 with the main purpose of empowering women and children’s development. The WCCS was initiated by a group of visionary women who believed, and still believe, that women are the backbone of every healthy family and strong society. Therefore, the WCCS works on empowering women on the occupational, social, and cultural levels, which will positively reflect on the quality of their lives and, consequently, the quality of life they will provide to their children.
The WCCS provides ongoing programs for Women and Children ranging from job creation, education, and social recreation to child care, education, and developmental programs. Such programs were built to directly contribute to the purpose of the WCCS in the short and long run. However, the WCCS also engages in multidimensional activities and projects that can have added value to the work we do, such as raising awareness and youth development, among others.
